Q: What am I supposed to do to get cheap Wyoming teen SR22 insurance? How come they charge me so much?!

A: I’ll tell you a story in moving pictures:

That’s why your Wyoming teen SR22 insurance costs more than people who are older’s insurance. Because teenagers are more likely to do crazy stuff like that, and also because they have less experience, so teenagers get in more accidents, file more claims, and so on. It all comes down to the same thing…higher car insurance premiums until you turn 25.

If you work, you can get ahead, though. When I was a teen, I did a bunch of stuff to lower my car insurance premium. I worked hard on my school work, which got me a good student discount. While I was at college, I let my parents hold onto my car and just hitched rides with my friends, and I got another discount for that. Whenever I had free time, I would take driver’s ed or defensive driving classes, and again, I got a discount. I also did a few other things which responsible policy holders should do–I cut my coverage, and raised my deductibles, which didn’t get me a discount, but did lower my rates.
